getting Zoom to work for you

  • You can choose speaker view or Grid/Gallery view – you can toggle between the two to see the difference. Upper right corner on a computer screen.

  • You can also choose to dance with video off,  you’ll miss that joy of being in connection.. turn it on or off anytime.

  • Stay MUTED.. turn off a small icon that looks like a microphone, this helps the sound quality for everyone! And you can be expressed as loudly as you choose, (respecting your neighbors!)

  • The Host can mute and unmute everyone. But make it easy so we can dance too!

  • CHAT feature – allows you to communicate with Host, and the rest of the group.. you can send a private message to a friend as well..

  • Name yourself, so we can see who you are even if you turn video off. .it's under the 3 dots on computer view.

  • Music and voice will be uploaded to Mixcloud afterwards so you can revisit, or dance when you need.

Many thank you's to all who made this possible:  I got support from Sarah Davies & Open Floor Movement teachers, JP LaBrosse, and my housemate Kathryn Korniloff... this is a new world, and improving technology, We're all doing this from our hearts!
